Just an FYI: you can't close a thread, only the moderators can do that.

No problem. We just noticed you posted a bunch of questions all at once. I kind of chuckled myself when I hit the site and saw a zillion threads, all started by the same guy. But I also saw the word "kid" in your handle, and I realize you're just new to the site, and learning the ropes. It's not like you cussed anybody out or anything, so hey, no harm, no foul.

Oh and BTW, welcome to the board!

thanks guys, ive been in the hobby for three years, but im not even close to be a pro or anything. the threads i started were just to see what people more experienced then me knew about fishing. sorry to all that thought all my threads were so called trolling.
    thanks
    j

ps- if youf know what lures would be good for taking largies in a deep and extremely clear lake, that would be great

Here is what Andrew (apb) suggested--

Ask more specific questions if you are interested in getting some useful info if you can. For example, a best lure question is so wide open that not many folks will spend the time to answer. If one asked it as, what would be the best lures for targeting Large Mouth in a shallow lake at night, they would likely get better responses.

PS I thought the part of Lunker1 post about you probably going to know exactly where, when and how to fish was funny--that's the part I was referring to.

    Welcome

Re: Do We have a Troll

Keep asking your questions. Be a little more specific. There's a lot of info here and there's no such thing as a dumb question. Someone may think your question is, but don't be timid to ask it. This forum is like fishing you have to learn how to use it and practice it. No one on here is perfect and if they "ride you" a little shake it off. I know I've had a few of em get on me, but I'm still here. This thing really get's rolling sometimes and can be quite entertaining before it get's the ax. Main thing is don't be shy just relay your thoughts best best you can.

Re: Do We have a Troll

mr basskid, as i stated in your "best lures" reply.....if you are specific you will get specific information....whether it be in open reply fashion or in a pm.
if you want to learn.....dont quit the site....learn how to use it to get what you want.
in other words "what is the best lure to catch a ton of fishing information"?
answer: direct pointed questions on fishin.com

    welcome to the site

p.s. favorite bass lure on a clear deep lake, watermelon trick worm on a spot remover shakeyhead jig.

No offense Basskid, you just left the door wide open. Good for you on catching the fishing fever. I have had the fever for quite some time but most of the time have to get my fill through these message boards. Work *****. If you ever get a chance to fish Kincaid Lake, take it. For being a smaller lake, it sure has some Lunker Largemouth. My PB there is just shy of 7 lbs but I have heard of much bigger and have seen many over 6 lbs.

    Re: Idea

Here's a suggestion that isn't offered nearly enough here. Many users of other sites will not answer questions until you have done an exhaustive search. With all the questions you have, you might should just start searching. It's amazing what you will learn on the way to getting an answer to a specific question while searching.
