when i lived in lexington i would fish there and out at jacobson -> had to wet a line somewhere before i had a boat. caught a lot of smaller bluegill and bass on 2 in tubes. not real big but better than sitting at home. yes easing up the bank and keeping a low profile does help! good luck and thanks for jarring my memory back to simpler times.
