Yeah I agree.... and I live on the lake!!!!! Our club weights are horrid it only took 9.94 to win a 10 boat tourney Sunday, 8.45 for second both had 5 fish limits and those were the only two limits brought in! These are guys who live on or by the lake all the time and can wack 'em at the drop of a hat and usually do. I have yet to break the 5lb mark this year and have been on the water at least 60-70 days this yr already... highly unusual for me not saying I am bassmaster man but I hold my own (in my own mind lol).
Do you think the flooding this spring may have affected the bite this year? I haven't even seen the big weights from Guntersville this year.
The Renegade was at Barkley/Ky last week end, two days and 22+ won Sat and 19+ sun with 15 for cks both days, I agree should have been more 20+ sacks, someone did mention that the floods could have messed things up, we blanked Sat and had 10.64 limit Sun. Bite was funky to say the least, spots that we normally catch at least 1 or 2 4+ lbrs did not produce any keepers at all or any shorts for that matter. Just was not the Barkley/Ky I like this time. But that is fishing.
All the spots moved because of the flood, mite take time too find those hunny holes but they are still there. The creeks flooded too and the fish are still there.Don't think we will know about the spawn from last year for a few years but i'm sure it hurt that last year.YMO
