On vacation last week so the boat got a work-out . Went to Interlake Pit , located east of Lynnville IN , on July 8th and was putting in at the first pit off Hwy 68 when I kept hearing a semi getting closer when a semi haualing a covered open-top trailer went by . Weird thing to see in a new DNR area . Got out and fishe the pit most of the day - caught 8-10 small bass nothing to get excited about . The truck went back and forth all day . I sent a email from the DNR website on Interlake and got a reply - the trucks were hauling gravel for the roads at Interlake . Glad it wasn't a new coal lease .

Years ago there used to be some big crappie in there. Don't know about now though.
Parts of Sugar Ridge is going to get dug up, but I don't think they are going into Interlake.
