    Magik, That is a horse congratulation. I was fishing SANG that day caught quite a few nothing that big though. That is going to be my home away from home from now on.LOL

    Thanks man! yeah I caught her just out from Metro, so you were pretty close by. I've made 4 trips up there since May and done very well each trip. but May is def the month to be there!! I'm done for the summer but I will be going back in October.

    Fantastic fish man! I have always wanted to fish up that way. So may is usually the best month to go?

    I know that fish was caught in early June, but I still think that the weekend before memorial day in May is the best time to go. Of course it depends on the weather. But really anytime in May should be good fishing up to probably mid July when they move out deeper. I have heard though that by sept. they are in huge schools but I have yet to check that out. If I were going back for numbers and size I would pick the best weather in May and go. It's only 6 hours from Lexington and thats pulling a boat. I mean to have one of the countries best fisheries only 6 hours way.....I'm there!!
