Welcome to our delightful community. Notice you didn't get many tips. Here's a couple. Cedar Creek has some big ole fish and you can catch them if you fish during the week. Herrington can be hot, hot, hot, or it can be as dead as T-ville. Fish at night but be careful. From Richmond Wilagreen is not far and can be excellent at times. As far as techniques I can't help you. I fish drop baits and moving baits depending on the time of year and water conditions. Good fishin.

Do you ever fish in Cumberland, I live near the lake in Monticello and try to fish as much as I can, taking in consideration that I work full time and currently working on a Master's degree.
