Firefighter Tournament Barren River Lake

It's time again for the Bowling Green Firefighters Association 2011 Open Bass Tournament. The tournament will be Saturday, September 24, 2011. Tournament hours will be 6 a.m.-2 p.m. on Barren River Lake. We will launch at Port Oliver Boat Ramp.

3 Fish tournament, $30.00 per person with 50% pay back (1 place per 29 entries) total weight of 3 black bass per boat.

Wendy's Big Award $500.00 for the single largest black bass

Door prizes will be given away at the weigh-in.

All proceeds will be used for the Shop With A Firefighter Program (a program that allows underprivileged children to Christmas shop with Firefighters at no cost to them)

Early entries will be accepted by mail until Sept. 10, 2011 or register at Ranger Bob's Bait and Tackle. All other entries will be accepted the morning of the tournament at Port Oliver Boat Ramp.

Tournament next weekend! Have 20 boats preregistered so far. Remember you can still sign-up early and Ranger Bob's and get a boat number. I hope we have a good turn out.
