If a man was to go to CC on a weekday morning, could he still expect to see 582 thousand people by Noon? I want to fish the lake but refuse to go to Duke City with somebody just to find a spot to cast, lol?

Its really not bad at all during the week.. Just be prepared for jackasses not obeying no wake zones, people cutting you off while fishing and the general moron.. Other than that its not that bad

It is not to bad this time of year. Get there at day light. There will be a few boats on the water as the morning goes by but will start to clear out later if the bite is tough.

I can most times fish all my spots with out a problem. I will be there some this week.

Bite has been very bad for me for the past three weeks, only small small bass have been caught, and only 3-4 per day, it has not been worth it for me and I am going to hold off until it cools down

and apparently to tim farmer cedar creek is good.. hes obviously never been on a saturday..

I have been doing kinda good on Cedar Creek, I am not looking for numbers but a 20 inch fish or better and finding 1 or two a night. I dont put in until just befour dark and fishing till around 2 in the morning. The bigger fish have been coming out of at least 16 foot of water on a Chigger Craw. But now this past Sat Night I did not do so well only had 1 19 inch fish on a Craw and some small fish caught on a spinner bait after dark.

I like Cedar Creek. Yes it can be tough. And I have yet to witness the mass of people/boats on there. Maybe they heard I was gonna be there and left or didn't show up Seriously though, I have not seen it as bad as some of y'all have. Perhaps it was just good timing on my part.

Where can I find weeds? I have fished CC several times but I have never found weeds. I would like to find some off shore weeds if they are any to be found.

Most of the grass is in the creeks and pockets, and on shallow flats.

I also founs some back near the bridge area last time I went that way but as stated, look in the pockets and such.
