I could collect unemployment from December to March every year but I never have. Since I don't take their handouts I do not claim that work on me taxes. Unemployment, is not a government handout, you cannot recieve unemployment unless you have worked and payed it into the system. so if you are out of work, sign up and recieve your unemployment benefits, it's not the governments money, it's yours. you payed it in.
