Thumbs up Hybrids are at the hydros.

Lower dam at McAlpine in front of the hydros. I took Knute (the heathen) on Tuesday and at about 1930 hours the hybrids/stripers/white bass or whatever you call them really started in the jumps. Literally hundreds at a time.

We were casting pop'r type plugs and nailing them on every cast. They quit right about sunset.

We go again this evening. Not as much action as Tuesday but still some jumps. My best this evening was one that measured 24 inches. No clouds today and I think that had something to do with the decrease in action.

We worked so hard (reeling in fish) on Tuesday that I arrived home completely drenched in sweat. Never even had time to relax and light a cigar the action was so fast and furious. Knute(the heathen) and I each caught over 25 in under 75 minutes and they were all over 4 lbs. Yep, a fish every 3 minutes, reeled in and released.
