Fish deep, water temp is 90 degrees. I had some luck on a Texas rigged senko and well as curly tail worm last week. You may also try some deep divers across extended points.

If you are there early, the bass are in the jumps. It is not hard to catch a keeper limit in an hour or so. By 9am, the jumps are just about gone, and we start fishing flukes with a small weight, or 5-6" shaky-head worms. The fishing is slow after 9am, but the fish will still bite.
I haven't had any luck at all using crankbaits, that weighted fluke and shaky-head worm is all I can seem to get a bite on.
Randy, have you seen those wide gap hooks that have lead molded on the shank?I wonder how they would work to get a fluke down a little? If you are there early, the bass are in the jumps. They might take away from the action, but I have never tried them. The best i have used are the worm hooks with an extended eye-end, that has a 1/16 or 1/8oz weight molded and painted on the eye end. It looks like a bullet weight is attached to the eye-end of the hook.
