Get rid of the Parties. Seems the words Republican or Democrat are far more important than the actual name of the Congressman, Senator, Governor and such. The Democrats control the Senate or the Republicans control the Senate, who cares what party controls. Quit voting down "party lines", MAN UP and vote on the bill or law based on your individual beliefs. It was not necessarily all "one" party denominated voters that put someone in office so to heck with Dems and Repubs, state your case for or against then let the Congress of Individuals or House of Individuals vote. How many bills or laws are voted into existence by the Domination of one party or the other? How many of these would have passed if not for the peer pressure of voting down party lines? I bet there are just as many millionaires from both parties and just as many from both parties in poverty.

How bad is it, I have gone from a 750 credit rating, $200,000 house with $70,000 equity in it, to foreclosure because it would not sell after 2 years on the market and priced at $170,000, to cashing in 401K, all savings, renting a home and on the brink of bankruptcy with owing $125,000 in medical bills because I got sick WITH VERY GOOD INSURANCE. I could not finance a spinnerbait all because my wife works for the State Gobernment and makes $35,000 a year. This salary plus my disability is supposed to pay my medical bills plus let us live and raise a 7 year old. There are no "government programs" available to help up but my daughter has a friend with 2 kids and the gov puts her up in an apartment, pays her electric bill plus gives her WIC and $600 month food stamps. Her parents have a 4 bedroom $300,000 house on the other side of town. When a mother and kids have options then why give them free stuff. We paid on a house for 2 years, dropped the price almost 20%, used all our money trying to do the right thing but after everything is gone you wonder why? I would have been better off not paying from day 1 on any of my "responsibilities" and told them all to stick it, blew the money on vacations and such for my family then end up here anyways. Each and everyone of you here are just one hernia, staff infection bout to where you are off work for a couple of years to being in the same boat as me.

Union or no union just stupid. All you union haters are obviously not union workers. Many are very dirty arduous occupations. Yea Yea Yea everybody has done a dirty arduous job,but not many do them for 30 years.

All the union workers do not appreciate the volatility and pressure of working without contract or security. Having to prove your value daily and threats of being undercut constantly.

Neither of those understand the pressure of keeping the business afoat and meeting the bottom line running your own business.

Best advise I can give is don't judge untill you walk a mile (or two). In the mean time learn to appreciate what the diverse benifits we bring to the table as a whole.

Time we stop attacking our neighbors (union member, gas station owner, corporate manager). I think we could get a lot more done.

Old saying? The grass is always greener. Right now I don't think any of us have it easy.
