Now if you consider Bush's policies as being "far left" then I guess we could agree because Obama has continued many, many of his policies much to the dismay of those on the left.
There are many laws that Obama is still trying to push through such as card check ( The employee free choice act, The cap and trade on industry, and his policies such as the moratorium on drilling in the gulf, restricting oil leases, idea of wealth redistribution, immigration policy, no enforcement of immigration law, bringing law suits against states the want to enforce the law. Having the ATF sell guns across the border then complain that american gun laws are too lax because they found many guns from the U.S involved in crimes in Mexico. Spending billions to help the people in Libya when the same thing is happening in Syria and not a word is said. Just to name a few.
