Getting that consistent bite is the "con" to it, but for me the "spot and stalk" out weigh that....for the most part... Plus, the way these guys are built you have to put the fly right on their dinner plate without spooking them.. Something about watching that fish react to your fly and start chasing it down is pretty cool to watch....

I can't keep up with you Bass guys anway... By the time the wifey wants to get to the lake for sun time I pass more boats that are headed home! There's plenty of these dudes out mudding and tailing in the middle of the day so if I screw up on one or two I can move on down to the next bunch.... haha

Thanks for the tip on Taylorsville! There's still a bunch of flats on Barren I haven't hit yet..
