Day Trip Ideas

Got an opportunity to get out on Saturday on a friend's boat (18' Skeeter) looking for some advice on where to go. Usually fish Taylorsville, looking for a change of venue to get into some LM, SM or Stripers and was hoping for some suggestions as I am new to KY fisheries. Have to be back in the Ville in the afternoon so it has to be a day trip. Thanks in advance!!

Fishing is tough right now, with water temps in the mid-lower 90s. You can find some fish on Barren fishing deep on mainlake points with big worms and deep divers...Nolin, you can find some on top water during jumps, and also deep on points. Good luck.

Stay home save your money. Fishing is horrible right now and throw in the pleasure boat traffic and it makes fishing "not fun". All you can hope for is rain for most of the day Saturday and that may make fishing a little better and it will keep the wake makers off the lake.
