Ok, so I am just gonna say it. I wacked 'em. 50 fish today, 7-8 were keepers. I got there at 6:30, poked around a couple spots. Went to my spot at 7:30 and wacked em. Till it started raining. Then I stopped for a little while. After it quit raining, I wacked em. Topwater. I only had one rod out all day. Two baits. That's it. I felt like I was on an episode of Strike King Pro Team Journal, except I told you where I was and I wasn't pushing some Strike King product, I also wasn't sitting there catching fish after fish and saying stuff like "I thought I was gonna get on them a little better." Anyways, I haven't ever experienced this kind of success while fishing. Usually if I catch 8 and one is a keeper I believe I had a pretty good day. This is unprecendented to me. So, yeah, I was pretty stoked.

. I guess the moral of the story is, no matter how bad people talk about Nolin, there are a ton of fish in there, it is just a matter of finding them, or in this case, them finding us. I've fished it for years, it is my favorite lake, I just wish they would hurry up and finish Cumberland so all the dickboats go back and we can have a little peace on the weekends.
I'm planning on hitting it up this week...can't wait! Thanks for the report.
