You forget about the housing crash? You think that was a single party debacle? Look back at who started that bull and who defended that bull.
Blaming Bush again? LOL geez will he ever go away? So Barry and his administration get a pass huh?
Your making my point already. Barry said he would turn it around. Don't you remember those grand speeches? Don't forget the Dems had control under Bush for a few years. I think they had the House and had the Senate with a few Independant Dems.
Your hatred of Bush blinds you.

the biggest chunk of obama spending came at the beginning of his presidency when he was facing depression or complete economic collapse--he had two choices do nothing or tarp--if he does nothing and the country slips into depression than you guys would have said he sat buy and let the country slip into depression--so he spends the money to prevent potential economic collapse which would have been alot worse than things are now and you guys dog him for spending too much---sure everything looked great for the first 6 year and then are whole economy nearly collapsed--oh but we had a few good years--what a joke---ya your right obama owns the downgrade because he is the only sitting president who has had to deal with tea party who are only concerned about whats in their pocket books be damned everything else--i very much agree that spending must be controlled--but not soley on the backs of middle class and it must be done in a manageable way--getting spending under control does us no good if we destroy our economy to do it--taking massive cuts out of our economy all at one time is a recipe for disaster--as for the flat tax i would have no problem with that but its a waste of time because it will never happen with our current political system--i am in the 36% bracket and yes i know and its unfortunate that the hardworking middle class folks like yourself geo end up paying more in taxes percentage wise than i do--what a shame

I sure hope you come to your senses before the next voting session...I don't know of anyone who liked all of the spending Nobama did during his first year or two. We ALL KNEW he was spending money we didn't have....we ALL KNEW at some point in time we would have to pay the piper...well....heck...why delay paying the piper? A little honesty on Nobama's part and ALL politicians part would have gone a long way instead of Nobama being a complete idiot and fool for thinking spending money we ain't got is the answer. Heck...most elementary school children who are raised by decent parents know they can't spend what they don't have.

It's been wrote here before, but I'm gonna write it again, because it's sooooo true....Jimmy Carter is loving Nobama right now.

it wouldn't take very long at all, for President Obama to fix the problems in this country. if only he liked to fish. anyone and every one that likes to fish, knows about fishin.com so if President Obama liked to fish he would check into fishin.com for fishing tips, and he could read the political post and get the info needed to fix our countrys problems. but we're doomed, he don't like to fish.

Friggin Obama. I've never seen a person who can say more about NOTHING than this clown. Dude should have been on Seinfeld, because he'd be perfect with a starring role in a show about nothing.

Today, in his "Chill Out, I Got This" speech....with the world watching....begging for some sense of leadership, sense of a plan, sense of something....he says absolutely nothing of substance. It was essentially 15 minutes of "Warren Buffet says we're good for it. Now guys, we really need to work together better, okay?" Then, he shifted to talking about the military and our losses in Afghanistan this weekend.

I heard more substance in Goofy Gatewood Galbraith's speech at Fancy Farm this weekend from under the brim of his straw hat....seriously....

    Obama is a joke.

Obama wins the next election, no problem. I am with Don on how he does it. But, if I had any money left I would put it under my pillow and keep it hidden.

I agree with Don on not counting Nobama out so easily...then again I've always been a pessimist, glass half full type of guy, prepare for the worst but pray for the best. I think there are to many illegal's, mexican's, chinese, and blacks in this country who will vote for him regardless. I also think there are a lot of folks now days who are dependant on social programs (something Nobama seems to love), and you know the social program recipient ain't gonna vote against their bread and butter.

Average everyday white boys are the minority guys....I know it and the rest of you know it...not sure when it will become common knowledge and we start seeing some rights of our own, then again....like someone Riverrat wrote...kiss the American Dream bye.

I HOPE Nobama is one and done.....Puh-Leeeaaaze let it be so!

But it is a great time to buy some superior stocks at rock bottom prices. What the heck, when it gets to the 9000 mark, I'm all in like I was after 911.

Great post. The market lost like 300 more points AFTER Mr. Obama's riveting speech.

I liked it to. I watched the Fancy Farm speeches on KET also Brian. I personally thought GG made the most sense. Beshear talked about the Troops and them only and I agree but he should have at least tried to talk about something else...

Williams is a jerk, I would love to see somebody black his eye. All he did was get up there and say Steve ***** with idiotic one liners. Richie Farmer is a JOKE! Nice jumpshot, a politician, lmfaooooooooooooo.

Galbreath for Governer, smoke'em if you got'em honey, Rest in peace Marge......

    Obama is the anti-christ...
