Could be my best CR Brown Fish to Date..

Don't know if you have been watching the Cumberland River lately, but on Tuesday they shut down the turbines and opened the gates to lower the water temp and increase the oxygen. Well, any way, fly fished couple of hours Thursday morning without even a sniff. Loaded up my toys and went home.

Then in the late afternoon, got restless, grabbed a couple of rods and went back to the river. About the 4h or 5th cast, I landed a 22 1/2 inch Brown. Caught it on a "white rooster tail".

Looking forward to catching this guy again on the fly rod!!!! I'm thinking that is my best CR Brown fish to date. It's times like this which keep a guy fishing....! Got to love the Cumberland..

don't be humbled....the fish in my album were caught in the winter under perfect conditions. If u look at the conditions you had to deal with to catch that fish you should be proud.
