Boat storage at Green River Lake

Hi everyone,
I have been reading the forum for a long time and enjoy all of your posts and information. I am interested in keeping my boat at Green River lake and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a good boat storage facility. The holmes bend ramp is where I normally go.
If anyone has a ball park figure on the yearly price I would appreciate that as well. Thanks

When I bought my house in the Holmes Bend community it did not have a garage. I rented a slip for 1 year at the storage building on the left before you enter the park while I was building my garage. That was 13 years ago and I dont remember the price. I do know they guy who owned it sold it and the new owner remolded the building...dont know why because it was fine just as it was. I think there is a sign with who to call so look the next time you are in the area.

I *think* the guy who owns/runs Holmes Bend Marina also has some storage units on the left straight across from the new RV park just before you get to the other storage unit I was talking about.

Going from Columbia to Holmes Bend as you turn off 55 onto 551 go 1/8 mile and the guy who owns the local Napa store has storage units that will hold boats. The unit will be 5-6 miles from the holmes bend ramp. If you are coming from Campbellsville it will be out of the way but coming from Columbia you will drive right past it.

That is the only three units that I am aware of close to the Holmes Bend area. Sorry I do not have a price or better contact information. If you can not find any information about the units I described let me know and I will see if I can get you some phone numbers.

Thanks R19, I will check on the two going to Holmes Bend next time I am down. I go through Campbellsville so the other one may not be as convenient, but I will check it also.
