This is correct Colonel, anytime there is a firearm season for deer you must wear hunters orange. However, if you are hunting public land where firearm hunting is not open during the regular season you do not have to wear it. For example, when we are bowhunting at Otter Creek, that Saturday and Sunday is muzzleloader weekend. We will not have to wear hunter orange because muzzleloader season is not open on the WMA.
