What is this forum for if not to help you catch more fish and spend less money doing it??? Get him a tissue!

It's been explained here on this site many many times. The creeks are a delicate eco system, they are not Ky, Barkley or lake Cumberland. Guys ''In the know'' about the creek try and protect and keep it on the down low. Too much advertisement and you get posts like this one, ''Where are all the fish'' kinda stuff. If you want to talk about we can't stop you, but you will catch on soon enough, that to much blabbing about creeks is cutting your own throats.

This forum is certainly for helping people catch more, and bigger, fish. No one has an issue with that at all. The question is, what is the appropriate information to provide. The problem with creeks is that they are very limited resources. It does not take long to remove most of the keeper sized fish if too many people are catching and not releasing. In addition, there is an increasing loss of access to areas to fish. On one of the creeks that I fish, there are a number of areas where you no longer have the access that we had 15 years ago. Landowners get tired of idiots walking over their land, dropping trash, and not cleaning up after themselves. Only so long before they say enough, fence the area off, and post it. Everyone suffers due to the actions of a few.

As far as providing info on fishing the various creeks, you'll actually learn a whole lot more by getting info on various methods to use and the types of areas that produce than you will on the exact locations to fish a specific creek. For example, if I were to give you the exact location where I last caught a good creek fish, and you show up only to find a couple of folks in that area, now what? Instead, if I provide you info on the types of lures I use for different types of areas, and the types of areas I find good fish, you can find your own spots to fish. You can also use that info on a variety of small flows rather than just learning about one small flow.
