IT gets pounded because there just aren't any lakes in Indiana. I fished it once while I was working in Indianapolis, just from my jonbaot. I was at the head of the lake or a major creek where I launched, the water was stained, about 1' visible. I dont recall there having been a good rain recently either. It was pretty flat with a very defined creek channel. I caught a few on big greenpumpkin worms and citrus sparkle fat free shads working the channel bends.

Its a crummy place to fish, but its not impossible to catch em. I caught fish right by the first ramp I picked on the map the only time I went. Maybe they were just really biting that day.
