Any suggestions on where to store a 18' bass boat in Lexington? Need something secure and reliable and I need 24hr access. Thanks for the help!

I was looking for the same thing last year. I tried Lexington Mini-Storage behind Meijer on Ruccio Way. They had a 10x30 unit that was on the end with enough room to back a boat into, the only problem is that the garage door opening was barely too narrow for my boat trailer to fit into, I have a 20ft Cobra. Even though the units are 10ft, the garage doors are only a little shy of 8ft wide. This could work if your trailer was narrower than mine. I ended up having to find a place in Nicholasville. Check on Craigslist under "housing, office/commercial or parking/storage". I ended up with a 18x50 unit behind Nissan on Nicholasville and it is very nice. It is owned by safestorage.com. I have seen others behind the Boot Store in the Industrial park also.
Thanks for the reply. Thats exactly what I was looking for. If you don't mind me asking how much per month was the 18'x50'? You can PM me if you want.
I believe they have the 900 square foot units listed on Craigslist for $490 per month. You can see a pic of them by going to safestorage.com, click on "what we offer" and click on "personal warehouses". They are very nice and secure units complete with security gate and 24 hr camera monitoring. I love it, I can back my boat and truck in, close the garage door and still have a few feet in front of my truck to walk around. They are also insulated and have heaters for winter storage, ceiling fans for summertime. Ceiling height is probably close to 20 feet high. I think they were designed for people to park big rv's in.
That sounds really nice, but excessive....I don't think I would need that much space. for almost $500/Mo I could move and buy a house with a garage for that price! I appreciate the info though I am going to check out some options with these folks for sure!I believe they have the 900 square foot units listed on Craigslist for $490 per month. Hey MagikSmallie SafeStorage has several other facilities. One is on Old Frankfort Pk and it is an older facility but well kept. If you call them they may make you a deal there if they have vacant space. Its pretty secure, never had a problem in the 5 years I owned it. Yeah, I sold it to them.I was looking for the same thing last year. I tried Lexington Mini-Storage behind Meijer on Ruccio Way. They also have plenty of outdoor storage there.
Good luck to you!
