79 merc 115 water pressure ??

bought a boat with this motor on it and when started seemed to only want to pee only when motor was at a high rpm. should i replace the water pump or is there another problem or is this normal ???????????????

Oh by the way this was in my driveway with rabbit ears on it

first off, you shouldnt be at high rpm on muffs. second, did you give it time to warm up and open the thermostats? they wont pee until they open at idle

Thanx-didnt know about the rpm deal and only ran it for about 2-3 minutes. Maybe it didnt have time for the t-stats to open. I will be testing it on t-ville next week so ill see how it acts when on the lake.
