Another Hillbilly Bone Fish on the Fly!!

Well, after getting shutout last weekend and NO love Saturday I finally found a fish that wanted to eat!! Got on Barren about 10:30 Sunday a.m. after the storm blew through and figured the water would be too muddy to spot fish, but after getting up on the flat it was actually in pretty good shape! Started seeing fish and after spooking a couple with some decent fly placements I decided to scale down my leader and fly! That seemed to be the ticket. Miss a couple of good fish and finally connected on this one. Good day on the water for me!

Thanks! After chasing these dudes for the last couple of weekends and finally connecting again I feel like I just won a marathon or something... they were starting to get in head! Plenty of room in there anyway...

hey man, that is an accomplishment. they dont come easy and i should know. they have been kickin my butt the last few times i have been out. u should pm me, ive been on a lake that has tons of fish to cast to but i just cant get them to eat.. if u ever want to try some new water give me a shout. i like your maverick, hell of a boat
