So how is the bite right now at NRL in the morning? From what I've heard the last couple of weeks, the bite has been slow. Are they hitting topwater? Do you all think the "BIG Bass" are getting in the creeks yet there at NRL or is it to early?

The morning was pretty good for us two weeks ago, after the initial cool off...they were hitting top water. Water temps should still be in the low to mid 80s range, which will probably have the bass scattered all over....some chasing the shad around, some on points, and some along bankline standing timber. I'm going tomorrow, so I'll report back on where we find them at the most.

i was there last weekend and the jumps were not happening but the largemouth and spots were chasing shad right under the surface. topwater was working well but size was smaller. no white bass at all. biggest bass we got was 15 inches but caught 20 in about a hour
