Guy's. I went to Bass Pro recently and got some fantastic help. I got some one-on-one help from one of the guys. Explained to me this rig that KVD had come into the location and showed them and then did a demo in the creek for me and then in the BIG tank!

The rig was as follows:

Tied a 10in leader on to the main line with a double barrel. And had another double barrel on the main line free (not tied) with about a 8in leader. Put a super fluke on each line. I swear...it looked like swiming minnows. Stated it would be great for topwater or were bass are chasing minnows.

I don't know if I believe them when they said that KVD had showed them but more than one guy came up and said "oh yeah KVD showed us that the other day". Am I so far behind the time's or has anyone seen this before? This type of rig.

Saw KVD using it on the strike king fishing show a couple of years ago. Not a bad setup. It will work at times.

Its called the Double Zulu....and I use it every time I fish the jumps at NRL! Its awesome! And catching two at a time is pretty fun as well!!!

The setup does sound awesome! So I guess the guy wasn't BS me. I'm going to have to try it then.

I was actually thinking about putting some bass assasins on there to see how they do.

Also called the 'double fluke' . . . most fish will hit the trailing bait. Also experiment with hooking the fluke point side down instead of coming out the back.

Double Zulu is what I saw it was called. Doug Strange of In Fishermen did a segment on this several years ago

This might be a stupid question but do you have to only fish it topwater? Can you put some weights on and drop it down?
