I'm more in agreement with Brandon's approach; the world needs more patience than it does anger, and if you happen to get on friendly speaking terms with someone, it's much more likely you'll be able to change their behavior for the better than if you blow up at them. But anyway... I also like this

My idea was to keep a CD player on your boat, and when someone gets too close, put on "Achy Breaky Heart" on repeat, at about volume 6. If that doesn't work, switch to some hip hop or AC/DC or the soundtrack to some Dora the Explorer cartoons (which we keep in the car for my daughters.)
