    My idea was to keep a CD player on your boat, and when someone gets too close, put on "Achy Breaky Heart" on repeat, at about volume 6. If that doesn't work, switch to some hip hop or AC/DC or the soundtrack to some Dora the Explorer cartoons (which we keep in the car for my daughters.)
    If you play AC/DC, I'd get even closer, and ask you to turn it up.
