There are several National ones. I say National, but they usually cover coastal waters. Lake Cumberland has a local service. I don't know if Nolin does and I doubt it. There are enough marinas that the distance between them probably wouldn't make the service worth while as a business. The marinas can't offer the service any longer, as they must use licensed captains. The National ones are Boatus and Seatow.
Duayne nailed it.
To me the best form of towing insurance is good prep of the rig beore launching. Second best, is to just ask for help on the water. I've been towed in once on teh Ohio River, and once at Cumberland, by passing boaters. In both cases I offered some cash to offset their gas or to by a meal as a way to say thanks.
BoatU.S. is what I use. They have service on most fresh water all over the country. JC
Yes, they are at KY lake. I have seen their tow boats. I also use BoatUS insurance with tow service. It's AAA on the water.
