First off, want to thank those of you that helped give me some current info on CRL...you guys know who you are.

Put in at the dam around 5:30am...little later than I wanted to, but it was a long drive, and I needed to make a stop. Water temps 82, water very clear as always there. Wasn't hard to find where the fish were, lol.....must have been thirty boats in a square mile. I immediately came onto some massive jumps....threw a 1/2oz cumberland pro jig white/chartreuse with a white grub, and hooked up immediately. Caught several, all schoolie size 18-22"...but extremely fun on light tackle! The jumps started right at the dam, and moved up the North shore to across from Indian. Got a little crowded....that brings up a point I must talk about....

What is a guy thinking when he goes 40mph straight into every jump that happens!!!??? This guy was KILLING me! I would get there, come off plane well short, and be closing the gap on the trolling motor....and in would come this tard right into the middle of them! Anyways....just ticked me off...

Needless to say, I wanted to find some more private water (), so I headed to the mouth of Beaver & Otter....found many more jumps in there, and the best part...I was ALONE! Caught several more schoolies, and one really nice 27". The bite shut off around 8:30am. Fun...fun!
