I can't decide if it's a blessing or a curse, but I happen to own two boats - a 1998 21' Triton and a 1984 16' Bass Tracker. If you don't know by now what B.O.A.T. stands for by now, stop by my house and I'll show you a drawer full of receipts just from the last five years. These things are killing me! I've replaced both onboard chargers in the last two years and now one of them has bit the dust again. If you have a brand recommendation, be it good or bad, I would love to hear it. I just want a charger that works reliably for more than a year or two. I don't think that's too much to ask. All I want to do is fish and not have to worry about what's going to break next!![]()

And to hear about the problem with the chargers. What brand(s) have you used that went bad? I have an onboard that I bought second-hand. It is an old Bass Pro model I got froma guy near Louisville. So far it has performed well; knock wood.
