The Barren River??

Has anyone ever fished the Barren River in bowling green, not the lake but the river. I have a small club tourney there tomorrow and if anyone would have any advice, that would be great!

Yup used to fish it alot out of Barren River Road. Sounds like you are fishing Butler County Bass Club. Small buzz baits, small spinnerbaits, and shakey heads do well. My favorite is a small Bandit Crank it Rootbear or Rootbear Chartruesse. If you are out of The ramp on Barren river road, you can run towards town and fish the mouth of the creek on the right, cant remember the name right now, but it should have some current there right now. The water should be high, so the farther you run towards the lake the better you will be. Get up towards the 185 bridge.
