3 Gates open at Wolf Creek
With the recent rain (~4 inches), Wolf Creek is releasing water from LC. Three gates open with a resulting flow of 6,300 cfs. Good news is this is putting a great deal of oxygen in the the Cumberland River water,as well as lowering the water temperature.
Thanks to the TVA, COE, and KDFWR for their joint management of the Cumberland River and trout program. Did I say thanks? Thanks..![]()

Mark, lets just hope we don't get any significant rainfall within the next few weeks....![]()
The Ohio River will be jumping up about 12 ft over the next few days as flood waters to the northeast make they way down to us....
I would love to be fishing at the dam for walleye and stripers next to the wing dam!!!!!!!!
Lol if I didn't have to work I would be down on the morning![]()
Well, you do have the weekend. River is foredcast to be at 6,000 cfs. Good flow to fish from the wing wall....
I'll be busy playing with the grandchildren over the weekend, or I would join you!![]()
