Well it is here so no matter how bad the teams look thus far, we may as well talk about it. I am not ready to make a prediction just yet, but I think some keys to the game are:

Louisville's inability to run the football. This is a key every year in this game, the team that rushes for more yards wins. Louisville is extremely young on the offensive line and it has shown in the first two games. It would have been a tremendous help for the Cards if Benevaides could have been back for this game. Then he goes back to center and Kupper moes back to left tackle, shoring up the O-line a little more.

I do think one place Louisville has talent and depth is at wide receiver. Chichester sometimes drops passes, but he played well last week and is still 6 feet 8. I also like the two true freshman wide receivers Devonte Parker and Eli Rogers. Both have played well for a couple of kids straight out of high school and Parker has caught a td pass in each of the first two games. I think if the line can give Stein time to throw, Louisville could put some points on the board.

One interesting key will be how Louisville's d does against the run. I really think Louisville has the advantage there. However, we are so young and inexperienced in the secondary and are vulnerable there. That being said, Kentucky doesn't have a receiver in the class of FIU's T.Y. Hilton so that should help.

I really expect this to be a low scoring game and whoever wins the ground game will win the contest.
