He gained a lot of respect from his teammates tonight, and many others, but he still has a lot to learn, as evidenced by some of his rookie mistakes. I feel like UK's defense wasn't up to par, or even up to a triple bogey, which helped Bridgewater shine a little more than he should have, so we don't need to get too overly excited and expect to see him starting....the right defense could crush him easily, about like the beating Hunter Cantwell took from Virginia Tech's defense in the Gator Bowl a few years ago. Bridgewater will get there eventually, but at least he's now going to probably get a bit more playing time than he might have originally after tonight's display.

Congrsts Cards isall I got to say about one of the sorriest looking College Football games i ever did see.

BTW.afew things i noticed from the Announcer's during the game... Since when did Will Stein switcth to the Cats, Didn't knoe the Illinni had 5 new freshmen on their front line. And since when did Bridgewater have two td's to his credit when the score was 14 to 10... Hope you all heard all the mistakes by the announcer's during the game.

Prediction...1 more win for U of L and it's gonna be next season before the cats see the win column get a number posted in it again.......

Sorriest play callin by a coach if i ever did see it..By the way u think U of L had any problem guess what UK was gonna do on 1st down...Every 1st down in the game...Pathetic is all I gotta say......

Was glad to see Bridgewater get the PT. I have thought he should have been the starter from the get go. I believe there were nine true freshmen that played for the Cards and that excites me. This should be a very good football team in two years. How about true Freshman Teddy Bridgewater, to true freshman Davonte Parker for a TD. Look for that combination a lot. Louisville's wide reciever talent is Parker and Eli Rogers (true freshmen) and Michalee Harris (redshirt freshman).

Anyway, nice win but lets not get carried away, still a long season and these Louisville kids have a lot of growing up to do.

I noticed all those mistakes, and a few others. At one point, it was said that Joker was the head coach for UofL....D'OH!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the UK fan in the stands that blew a whistle and messed up what would have been a big play for the Cards.....I'm thinking the UK fans would just assume forget about that guy. He's just another fine example of how ridiculous some UK fans can get.....I still believe that UK fans are the worst fans in college sports. It's just a game.

That guy was a complete fool. I liked how he tried to just give them the whistle, like that was going to end it..."excuse me sir, we need you to come with us!" If Charlie Strong could have gotten his hands on him the guy would have wished he was locked up!

Btw, I will see your UK fans and raise you with West Virginia fans, the absolute worst, most classless people on the planet. The only time I have ever actually wished I had a gun at a ball game was walking out of the stadium in Morgantown. They actually fence off the student section.

Good Lord isn't that the truth. Yes UK fans can be bad but nothing in the world like WV fans, they are complete morons and violent to. They beat up some old ladies in the womens room at one of their football games one time. Elderly women beat down by some cracked out Red root snorting hillbilly. Terry Meiners was assaulted there once to, but the PO PO stopped it before it got to bad. Their basketball fans are just as bad to.....

Yes that play was going to be a HUGE gain, the field was wide open. Why didn't they flag that, or did they?? I was in a bar and it was quite loud. I was sure that was Cheatapari with that whistle.

Did you see where he tried to get all the tickets sold, I actually hate that man, I know that's wrong but I do....
