My family has posted on this board every time that I have been sick or had an operation. Now I am the one asking for prayers just as that little child is fighting a battle to live. My brother who is 53 is losing his battle with cancer, he has 5 kinds attacking him at once! the two worst are skin cancer and the flesh is slowly rotting off of his body below the belt line. He also has it in the lymph nodes in his groins one of them is secreting an acid like discharge that is eroding the femoral artry when it burst he will have maybe 10 to 15 minutes, but it will be bleeding into his stomach cavity and will cause great pain and he will slowly drown in his own body. We have discussed this and he has decided not to fight the cancers, the doctors said they could help him live longer but he would be sedated most of the time and he does not want to be a living dead man. So we ask that when you pray that you will also remember him Mark Wooten, in Glasgow, so that when he passes that it will be quick and no pain, I know my brother would gladly tell god to take him and let that little child have a full and happy life. He has never had a child of his own but he has always loved them and his nieces and nephews all love him very much. so if heaven needs another soul let it be mark and help the child to grow up to be a good and kind person. thank you and once again our hopes for the child are strong! God bless us all and keep us safe thank you Dennis

Prayers sent. Can't imagine the pain he has to endure.
Prayers are sent to you and your family. God sometimes does things I can't quite understand. They say he has a purpose for everything, my faith sometimes gets thin when hearing about someone like your brother. But as always I will bend a knee and continue to put my trust in Him. Joe G
Prayers for sure. God speed to all involved...

I guess I may seem a little different with my answer but, Dennis, I want to tell you that God doesn't have to take one life so that another may live. He doesn't have to take your precious brother so a little child can live. Jesus ended all sacrifices when he became the Supreme Sacrifice, once and for all, when He gave His life and died on the Cross. God's hands are never too full that He cannot help another of His children; His ears are always open to our cries. Even our prayers don't have an expiration date.
I feel your sorrow and grief because I have walked through that same dark valley where you are now walking....5 times. Three of those times was in 2007...over a period of only 4 months. I cried when I read your desperate prayer request.
When one of our family members has a crisis such as your brother is facing, we talk to that member and also ask the doctor to talk honestly with our loved one; we hold nothing back and don't permit others to whisper about their condition. (I am certainly not saying that you do any of that). They are the one who is suffering and facing death and deserve the chance to make sure they are ready to meet the Lord. We ask them if they are ready to go to Heaven now or want to wait for a while. Every one of them said NOW.
I have not seen even one of them appear to be afraid; they seemed to be relieved and filled with peace. We then ask them to release their spirit back to the God who gave it. We all lay our hands on our loved one, say our goodbyes and promise to meet them in Heaven. Then we pray a prayer that God will take them quickly and painlessly. My mother slipped away to Heaven before the prayer ended.
I am calling your prayer request to another member of my family and we will pray together for your brother to have a quick and painless return back to our Father God. We will also ask that it be according to His will. May He give you and the rest of the family comfort and peace. Please know that we cover you with our prayers.
Note: This message is for Dennis and is not intended as fodder and mockery for non-believers.....Marge
