Re: With our help Gods got his hands full, please help

I guess I may seem a little different with my answer but, Dennis, I want to tell you that God doesn't have to take one life so that another may live. He doesn't have to take your precious brother so a little child can live. Jesus ended all sacrifices when he became the Supreme Sacrifice, once and for all, when He gave His life and died on the Cross. God's hands are never too full that He cannot help another of His children; His ears are always open to our cries. Even our prayers don't have an expiration date.

I feel your sorrow and grief because I have walked through that same dark valley where you are now walking....5 times. Three of those times was in 2007...over a period of only 4 months. I cried when I read your desperate prayer request.

When one of our family members has a crisis such as your brother is facing, we talk to that member and also ask the doctor to talk honestly with our loved one; we hold nothing back and don't permit others to whisper about their condition. (I am certainly not saying that you do any of that). They are the one who is suffering and facing death and deserve the chance to make sure they are ready to meet the Lord. We ask them if they are ready to go to Heaven now or want to wait for a while. Every one of them said NOW.

I have not seen even one of them appear to be afraid; they seemed to be relieved and filled with peace. We then ask them to release their spirit back to the God who gave it. We all lay our hands on our loved one, say our goodbyes and promise to meet them in Heaven. Then we pray a prayer that God will take them quickly and painlessly. My mother slipped away to Heaven before the prayer ended.

I am calling your prayer request to another member of my family and we will pray together for your brother to have a quick and painless return back to our Father God. We will also ask that it be according to His will. May He give you and the rest of the family comfort and peace. Please know that we cover you with our prayers.

Note: This message is for Dennis and is not intended as fodder and mockery for non-believers.....Marge

Re: With our help Gods got his hands full, please help

yes they are here 5 days a week, they are doing a great job, my mother is 76 and the nurse in charge has been a great help with herand she has been a big help for my wife. She has been playing nurse for a long time with my health problems. I had my other kidney removed 5 weeks ago, good news for me is that if VA in DC approves my funding I will get on the waiting list I have been working for several years just to get this level. we knew mark was sick but not to the point we have been told, Docs gave him 10 to 14 days at the most that was 17 days ago. I think God has a plan and when we are allowed to see it, it will be something great,we know the cancer is very bad but I have a feeling his death will not be in vane. I stopped going to church 20 years ago, but God is not in the church house, he is in the brick the wood in the frame, he is the church I found that out in a way that has turned me away from the church when they shut down a mission that five us volunteered to build and run. we provide 30 plus children from the age of 4 and up we made sure that they had a good and plentiful supper every thursday night, we had bible study for 5 different age groups each week we would go and pick up the children and we would have worship for 30 minuts before the meal and then they had a 15 min play break after we seated them we had worship while they ate. I was a carpenter and when I worked for the church instead of pay the money that would have been mine went in to our mission funding then after four hard and sometime lean years the big church pulled the funding so they could build a new sound booth so they could make tapes to sell for the main church, my faith was tested and in some ways I was wrong but those children were some of the poorest in the state of Louisiana.I have to stop writing or this will be a book thank you and all of you who have had prayers for us. God Bless all of you. Dennis
