Big East Falling Apart

Looks like with all the team/conference movement the Big east is losing two charter members and talk of more coming,hmm.

So Iowa State and Baylor have looked into the Big East and the Big 12 is looking into Louisville and West Virginia. I need to buy stock into jet fuel with all the stupid alignment of college sports. It is obvious that traditional rivalries don't matter anymore so get rid of ALL current conferences. Start all over with conference alignment.

6 Super Conferences with 20 teams each in 2 divisions of 10 per. I football you play each team in your division once and basketball twice. Then you play 2 out of conference games in football. Make it to where you must go 5-4 or better in your conference and 6 or more wins total to be bowl eligible in football. Still have the conference championships in football and basketball as 1 game playoffs on a neutral site. Then have your mid major conferences, because face it, after the top 120 college sports programs the rest are "mid majors".

It will definitely be interesting to see how all of this plays out. I would like tlo see Louisville go after a spot in the new ACC. It might end up one of the conferences is combination of whats left of the Big 12 and the Big East.

UL would be better off in the ACC,the Big 12 is definately changing for the worse imo. I don't know how the Big East will play out but Baylor and Iowa State are not replacements for Syracuse and Pitt.
