The act very similar to a Bonefish that you find in the tropics in the way that they "tail" or feed. Also they are pretty spooky and sometimes picky about fly selection like a Bonefish.... soooo some folks are now calling them "Golden Bones" or "Hillbilly Bonefish", "Freshwater Bonefish", etc, etc... Thus the "bones" slang... hope that helps!
