    Ohio River Bridge...Loving It!

    I LOVE IT!!!
Now don't take it the wrong way, I don't support the Presidents Jobs bill, but I do love a good fight, and it looks like he brought it home to Ohio/Kentucky on this one. But, what about a much needed BRIDGE LINKING INDIANA TO KENTUCKY!

PS, who was that "short term politician from WV, what was his name? Bet he could have gotten bridges built across the mighty Ohio, abit it an amendment to another bill!! Glad I never bought a horse from that man.

(AP) CINCINNATI ? Needling his top Republican adversaries on their own turf, President Barack Obama stood in the shadow of an outdated and heavily used Ohio River bridge Thursday and called his rivals out by name to demand action on his $447 billion jobs bill.

Making a point to choose a bridge linking House Speaker John Boehner's home state of Ohio with Kentucky, the home of Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell, Obama struck a cheeky tone that underscored the politics of the moment.

"Mr. Boehner, Mr. McConnell, help us rebuild this bridge," he declared. "Help us rebuild America. Help us put construction workers back to work. Pass this bill."

The president's incursion into northern Kentucky and southern Ohio is one of his most direct and defiant challenges to leaders of the opposition party. And it illustrated a desire by the president's advisers to distinguish him from Republicans and to get them to share some of the blame for the struggling economy.

Oh my gosh that speech made me sick! This guy is so full of it his eyes are brown! I thought the first "shovel ready" stimulus was supposed to get the economy and his union buddies working. What happened? Why didn't that bridge get worked on or fixed then? Did it? I don't drive that road so I have no idea if there was any work done there?
His voice and speech habits make me gag!! Please go away!!!!!!!!!

    Hey, I got an idea.

Stop the flipping politics and give us the money to fix the bridge which does have an impact on local economy and transportation as a whole.

Delink it it from everything, and answer the flippin question. "My bridge is broke, and I need it fixed, will the US stand up and fix this infrastructure?"

The heck with all the polititcal agendas, delink it and answer it.

Mitch....shut up! Obama...get a life, quit playing games and support America with some bucks to fix our infrastructurre, now is not the time to play games!".

Every once in a while I'd like to have a beer with this puke and reserve the right to slap him up alongside the head to get him focused on basics.

We got the money to build a bridge.............We have over 60 million secured just from donations alone. The rest I'm sure Barry would give us, it makes HIM look good, with his shovel ready CRAP. River Fields is the problem...

WE ALSO HAD IT SECURED FROM THE GOVERNMENT AS ANN NORTHUP WORKED HER BUTT OFF TO GET IT. THEN THAT MARVIN THE MARTIAN TREE HUGGING RIVER FIELDS LOVIN, POCKET LINING IDIOT JOHN YARMOUTH GAVE IT ''''''AWAY''''.

''Friends don't let friend's vote Democrat''

Obama is the biggest flippin JOKE to ever be a President, just his voice now or watching clips of that George Jefferson walk he's sporting makes me wanna PUKE.

Please dear God anybody, I mean ANYBODY but this moron in 2012........AMEN!

BTW , John Yardmouth has had his lips permantly attached to Barry's arse since he took office. Dude I'm glad you ae loving people having to drive 2 and 3 hours instead of 20 minutes, I know some people that would love to ring your neck if you go down on the Kennedy and wave that sign at rush hour..

There was an announcement recently about Alabama getting a $7 billion, 300-mile toll road, port, and rail system reaching from Orange Beach, AL to Loretto, TN. It will run across west Alabama near where I live. Oh, Jeeze!

All the politicians, elected officials, and wannabes denied any knowledge of it and said they hadn't been informed about it. Some told the press they didn't understand how a virtually unknown company could manage to secure the land and permits and them not know anything about it. They expressed doubt that anyone could build a road that didn't involve taking any taxpayer money or government funding. They threw out the names of 3 different companies but neither of them was correct. The 300 miles is just the first half of the toll road; the last half reaches to Chicago, and the politicians don't even know it. You may be able to get yourself a new bridge if you ask for it. lol

This was reported on May 1, 2000, in Engineering News-Record (ENR) and it said the governor of Alabama had signed the measure into law. You can read the one-page report taken from ENR archives some time back. Click on the information that shows up on this page that is provided by another website; it keeps up with infrastructure information. ENR no longer has it available in their archives.

You can go to this site, click on "Projects" near the top of the page, and read the latest article or click on the partial article on the right of the page. That way you won't have to register to read the information. There are also pictures of the plans that you can look at. If you click on each picture you can read the information.

I wonder how quickly Obama will say that project was his idea and the money was released by him. He will surely claim credit for the 14,000 jobs it creates.

Spare time?!! Now that would be a luxury. I guess you could say it's the time I'm having my first cup of morning coffee while I sit in a rocking chair on my back porch. It's cool, peaceful, and I get to see the critters coming in to have a cool drink from the lake. My work day begins at 6:00 am and ends between 12-2 am about 4 days a week.

About your Obama comment....Wouldn't it be great if the USA finally elected a woman president and she cleaned up the mess the men have been making for a hunded years? It is definitely time for a change.

I don't mean to disappoint you, but when I want a REAL cat fight, I just do some sexy scratching on my own testosterone charged Tom Cat. Mrrrroooowwwwww!

What do you do in your spare time, clip your toenails or listen for the grass to grow?

Funny, I heard a rumor over the weekend that Hillary will be running against Obama in the primary...Looks like she's ready to tell America that they screwed up by picking the current POTUS over her in the last election as the Democtatic rep. for President.....

Weird thing is..if she does run against the POtUS and beats him in the primary, who will the Blacks and Mexicans blame the loss on....Oh i know, it'll be all the white Democrats who voted for Hillary.....

Judging from the short film footage I saw on the national news Nobamay's lips were really flapping in the wind over the weekend when he preached his sermon to the attendee's at the Black Caucas event.

Hey Mark, where do you think John Yarmuth lives? A friend of mine who is an engineer said the bridge would come across part of property owned by Yarmuth!
