People probably get a little pissed for giving up a little too much information but there is a really nice road bed that runs through one of the back creeks in Hurricane creek. That area also has a bunch of rock between and out from the docks. Shallow running cranks and topwater early worked for me. Heck, the fish might have already left that spot, but not likely.

Headed back to BRL on Wed....found numerous jumps and an insane amount of shade! There was almost too much shad...so many it made getting your bait noticed tough. I chased the jumps around, having the most luck burning a white/silver spinnerbait through the schools of shad...caught a limit of keepers, nothing over 4lbs...and caught several just short of 15". Couldn't seem to catch them on anything else this time. This was in the proximity of the backside of the narrows. Such a great substitute for the NRL jumps, now that those have stopped for the year. I've got to get back to BRL next week, I'll report if I do.

Also, I have been shocked that the hybrids haven't been up in all this shad feeding? Haven't hooked into one?

Getting tougher for me by the day. Other than stumbling across some fish in the jumps, fish are getting a little tougher to catch each day. We only had 1 keeper today, maybe about 25 fish total, about 1/2 of them over 12". Still good fishing, but it's falling off quite a bit. Wind made it tough today. Tried the back of Hurricane, early Tuesday morning, and fished the road bed near the mouth of the creek but didn't have any luck.
