    Imagine that, people getting offended....I seriously doubt that anyone was offended. We need to stop catering to people who want things stopped simply because they don't agree with it. We believe in free speech in this country!

    A few of the parts may be made elsewhere, but it's Americans putting them together, here in America. Those same Americans that pay taxes and stimulate the economy. Plus, it takes more Americans to put a vehicle together than it takes a group of Mexicans to make a frame, or Japanese to make a computer, or Indians to make an axle housing.

    I grew up on Ford cars. Its all my parents bought and they were nice big luxury cars and great for family vacations. They never broke down that I recall. My first car when i got my first real job was a 78 Ford Thunderbird. That baby could roar. Nice blue car and comfortable and built like a tank. Loved that car. Drove it into the ground and then retired it. I also like GM too and had a Buick Century. Another excellent car that last 17 years until I drove it into the ground. Never broke down and was good to me. Now have a Mercury Sable and will drive it into the ground. hahaha Solid cars last a long time.

    I had a 79 Thunderbird a long time ago...had the 302 in it...same body style as your's but the tail lights were slightly different. It did anything but roar...it was more of a cruiser, it was a nice car.

    I admit to being a Ford guy. My dad put in 30 years at the Ford LAP and they put clothes on our back and food on the table. Btw Mark, you never saw my old 1989 Ford F 150. It was ugly as hell, but made it to almost 300,000 miles.

    My 5.4L Triton V8 is pretty stout. I had the same motor in my F150 a few years back and pulled some pretty hefty crap with it...pulled a car on a car hauler through the mountains of West Virginia once and it never gave me any trouble.

    My uncle has a 1977 F100 4X4 that is BAD TO THE BONE. It is his pride and joy. He could have bought a newer one whenever he wanted it, but chooses to keep repairing and running this one...he did have to put a new motor in it a few years back...but this thing is a sight to behold.

    Only trucks I've ever owned have been fords.............

    Ford Ranger......drove it into the ground 200k miles and traded it in.

    Ford F-150........drove it into the ground too, even when I BLEW the motor at DALE. Still drove it home with parts falling off it.

    Current F-150.....25k miles / year pulling back and forth to Dale and KY Lake. I will drive it into the ground, or until I buy the new F-150/ecoboost.......Hell YEA.

    Actually for that matter.........list of cars I've owned:

    * 1975 Mustang
    * 1985 Ford EXP
    * 1978 Chevy Monte Carlo
    * 1990 Chevy Lumina (worse piece of **** ever).
    * 1991 Hyundai (first and LAST foreign car......second worse piece of ****).
    * 1992 Escort Wagon
    * 1993 Ford Ranger
    * 1997 Ford Windstar
    * 1997 Ford F-150
    * 2000 Chevy Cavalier - Oldest Daughters car
    * 2000 Chevy Cavalier - Youngest Daughters car
    * 2000 Ford Windstar
    * 2006 Ford F-150
    * 2007 Chevy Trail Blazer

    Of all the cars they were all pretty good with the exception of the Lumina, the Hundai, and the first Windstar.......

    The first Windstar was buggy, and had lots of issues, but most were ticky tack issues......finally the motor and tranny let go. Ford replace both under warranty at 100k miles.........NOT BAD.
