HA. Notice no smallnuts response to that one. What I think is funny is that I have attended both schools, smallnuts has attended neither. I think of anyone, I would know which one was better? AND BY DER WEIGH I TUK INGLISH AT DAT KENTURKY SKOOL.
And nuts, if you want to compare high school test scores, I got a 33.
I guess my 28 and your 33 are pretty similar since 31 was perfect score in 1985 versus 36 perfect score since 1990. If you took yours before 1990, then you are the MAN and smarter than me but if after then about the sameHA. Notice no smallnuts response to that one. I am with Don on this one. I just don't understand how YOU FELLAS get so worked up over Louisville and Kentucky. It is only a game. I for one hope both teams do well in all sports and support each of them unconditionally and equally right down toy half blue half red suit I wear when they play each other. It doesn't matter that Kentucky has beaten a #1 ranked football team. After all they have had more opportunities at playing in the SEC versus the BE which is struggling but that will all change soon. Who cares that Kentucky does have 1 National title in football to Louisville's NONE. Who cares that UK has 7 National Titles in Basketball to Louisvilles 2. Who cares if Kentucky has 417 more victories in Basketball than Louisville. Who cares if Kentucky was ranked #124 best college to attend while Louisville came in at #164, tied with West Virginia and Florida Institute of Technology. Who cares if Louisville had 6 football players with a 0.00 GPA for a semester. Do you know how hard it must have been for these 6 kids to sleep in, miss class, do terrible on exams if they took them at all and still make it to practice on-time? That shows dedication and leadership qualities, if you ask me. Bottom line is both schools are located in our great state of Kentucky. Grant it one is separated by a creek from being part of Indiana, but it is still in Kentucky neverless. We should all come together and support each team, no matter who they are playing. I propose a ban on all post related to sports in the future. This way we can talk about what really matters, which is how bad Kentucky is going to beat Louisville in Basketball this year and which small less than mid-major school will knock Louisville out of The Big Dance in the first round? Neither of these topics violate my proposed ban on sports related post because to be a sport it should be a competition and we all know Louisville is no competition. So key me hear it
GO BIG RED
GO BIG BLUE
GO BIG RED
GO BIG BLUE
UK's is more mythical than most, since really Oklahoma was the champion in the poll everybody went by back then. Of course that is the problem with college football, we vote on it instead of deciding it on the field.
UK's mythical title is still one more mythical title than Louisville has or ever been close to having. Agreed that football needs a playoff system to decide it on the field.
Hey, little known fact but in Ron Cooper's final year, U of L and Uk both played the number one team on the same day. Penn St. was ranked #1 in one poll and UK played Florida the same day and they were #1 in the other poll. BTW I believe both teams lost badly. I know Louisville did because I was looking over Joe Pa's shoulder most of the game LOL
Bet it wasn't as bad as 63-0 like UK will lose Saturday. I believe some payback for when LSU was number 1 when they came to town a couple of years back will be given out. LSU favored by 30 points is a STEAL. If Kentucky manages 14 points then LSU only needs 44 to cover the spread. LSU's second team could score 44 and hold Kentucky to 14, much less the starting squad. 3-10 against Number 1 teams after Saturday.Hey, little known fact but in Ron Cooper's final year, U of L and Uk both played the number one team on the same day.
