I am proud of his strength to stand up to the Iranian court and not denounce Jesus. He is Christian and proud of it. It says he never was a Muslim as an adult. He will die a martyr in my eyes. He is standing up to those people. Good for him. I feel sad for his wife and young children. I guess she will be next on the chopping block. I never thought the Muslims were a peaceful religion. It so different from all other religions that preach peace and love etc.

I've seen people on this board say that not all Muslims are radical/violent. I guess this fella here (a Muslim) fits into that non-violent category...this is because he finally saw the light. But...let me ask this, if the Muslim folks in general (radical or not) are not all 100% radically violent as a whole, then why the heck are the Muslim powers that be, wanting this guys head? Sounds to me like if you're a Muslim then you're not a peace loving person UNLESS you change your belief somewhere along the line.

Bottom line for me is I don't trust'em, not any of them.

I don't believe that craziness happening in Iran affects my relationship with Muslims in America any more than crazy-arse Ku Klux Klan "Christians" affect my relationship with Jesus. Maybe the problem is craziness, not the religion.

There are radicals in all groups.......unfortunately, there are more and more radicals coming out of the woodwork every day......

The problem is that the story is about MAINSTREAM radical Muslims in Iran. If this is NOT they way Muslims around the world think then MUSLIMS around the world need to step up and condemn that particular thinking. Christian leaders regularly condemn the radicals amongst their peers.....why do Muslim leaders refuse to condemn the radicals amongst their peers??
