So, as some of you already know, my wife is knocked up...it's a little girl named Sara Beth...due January 6th.

Being our first child, we're pretty much clueless. I've received a ton of what I hope is good advice, but figure that it'll be like most things and we really won't understand until we're knee-deep in it. So it goes...

Anyway, I want to buy a camcorder so that I can take video of the little curtain-climber that I can torment her with in front of boyfriends in the future. I have never owned a camcorder. I'm assuming that I want HD now, but know next to nothing about them.

Anybody got one? Any advice? The HD models look dang expensive.
