Truck battery finally died.

The original battery in my 1999 Ford Ranger finally died. I've been charging it once a week as I rarely drive this vehicle.

Anyway, I had to buy a new battery today. It's been a long time since I had to buy a battery and I was sticker shocked at currrent prices.

Oh well, 12+ years out of a battery is pretty good.

Also had to get a new taillight for the boat trailer. Now I'm all good to go to Barkley next week.

I got 6 years outta the one that came in my F-150 Super Crew....

Have gotten 6 years so far outta my boat batteries as well, which seems like a record for boat batteries these days.......

The Wal-Mart battery I had in my Jeep died the day before you posted this. Not bad I guess, it had a 3-year warranty and I got 5 out of it.
