A wife gets PREGNANT because she conceived a baby out of the act of love.

You need to stop using that Redneck statement when talking about your wife. She has made a commitment to give life to, and be the best, most loving mother she can be for the rest of her life. That's a 24/7/365 job that is worthy of the highest honor, to be called "Mother."

I dont know if this will help you or not,if you are able to, let the wife stay home to raise your child, its very hard to do now a days. My wife stayed home and raised our two children, both are college grads, and both were national honor students.There were a lot of things we did with out, but it was the best choice we ever made.My sons wife died of cancer when his daughter was just 10 yrs old, I'm amazed he was able to cope with a young daughter. He quit his very good job, became a teacher at her school, and this summer she graduated, she is going to college, with no tuition aide,and its made life just a tad easier on him. He also demanded to have her dates see him, some he told his daughter he wouldn't allow her to see a guy like that.

Thanks Bug...my wife and I have a very easy-going sense of humor...and I guess we're a little red on the neck. LOL She refers to herself as "knocked up" all the time. Every time she adds something to my Honey-Do list right now, she also reminds me that she is carrying my "demon spawn." LOL It's all in good playful fun - We both have a ton of respect and love for each other.

But trust me when I say that we're completely aware of the commitment and job that is coming for us both. We had been trying for 10 years and had all but given up - All my wife has ever wanted to be was a Mother and she was crushed when we discovered that she had some issues that kept it from happening all these years. However, through some medical advances, a little cash, and some good fortune bestowed upon us by the Good Lord...the stick turned blue and a miracle happened. She's 36, so this was kind of like a hail-mary pass as the horn sounded that gets bobbled around and caught in the end zone.
