Spinner bait, weightless fluke, buzzbait, and basically about anything that looked like a shad.

The interesting part is how their mood changes daily during that time of year - one day you'll smoke them on a rattle trap or a really noisy bait, and then then next they'll want something that makes no noise at all, like a balsa crank or fluke. Very moody fish at that time of year!
