Tim,
I watched that speech and it was awesome. I didn't get wrapped up into all the sorrow of his death.... Mainly because I didn't know the guy. I respected his work and his accomplishments and his contributions to the technology world and feel for his family.

I feel more sorrow for the military men/women and family members who have lost loved ones fighting/defending our soil, rights and liberties. They have enabled us all to pursue our dreams.

Surely, not hijacking your thread because his message was worth watching.
I hear what you're saying Don...I didn't lose any sleep over his death either. But knowing what little I know about the guy I certainly respect how he made it to where he did. You thought the speech was awesome...I'm not sure I would describe it as awesome, but it certainly was meanigful and thought provoking, considering at the time he gave the speech he had just beat his first bout with pancreatic cancer (I think it was pancreatic anyway). I just thought everyone might want to watch it, maybe stop to think about it a little, and that each person might walk away with something a little different from it. I mean you know...Steve Jobs man! From rags to riches on his own, having experienced being a poor adopted kid to living life on top of the world to experiencing a life-changing event as he gives a speech to a graduating class of college folks about to embark on their own journey in life.

Hijack any of my threads all you want, same goes for anyone else as long as they're respectful. It's only type written words on a computer screen, we can all get along here and hopefully walk away from here better off than when we arrived.
