Cumberand reports?

Hey guys, Me and a buddy are thinking about hitting Cumberland up this Saturday. We are prolly going to fish the lower end and I was curious if anyone's found any bass down that way, where they're at ( main lake or creeks) and what on? Thanks for any info. I'll give a report on how we do when we get back.

From what I've heard it's still been very slow with an occasional decent day here or there. Still in transition mode, water temps low 70's. When the water temps get in the mid and low 60's it should pic up quite a bit I hope. But with the lake this year who knows. I have fished Cumberland a long time and the fishing has been as off this year as I can ever remember. Good luck if you go and give us a report if you don't mind when you get back.

The bite was very slow. The water was really clear, water temps were 70 degrees. We fished the south part of the lake and caught 8 small fish (10''-15''). We had 7 KY's and 1 smallie. I will say it was a beautiful day to be on the lake though. The weather was awesome and we had a good time. Hopefully the bite will pick up once the water temp is down to around 60 or so.
